As far as health insurance goes and other “emergencies” you can take your LONG TERM SAVINGS Jar and split it in half. So take 5% and save for a car and then take 5% and use it for a “cushion.” I truly don’t believe in saving for emergencies or rainy days. Money is another form of energy so I feel that if you are putting energy into rainy days you are going to spend a lot of time soaked and wet. So instead of manifesting emergencies, I would just give yourself what I call a “cushion.” That way you can use it for various things that have no negative or positive connotation.

If you don’t have health insurance, where do you live? “Healthy San Francisco” is amazing and for anyone who is not in SF I always recommend FDI. You get HUGE prescription discounts 10-60% off, and you have 24 access to a doctor on the phone so they can call your prescriptions in without you having to sit in the doctor’s office for something minor. You also get access to Wellness TRAX which is an herbal/homeopathic route. I live in San Francisco and I use FDI, lol. So I chose it over Healthy SF. I do have friends that like Healthy SF though, I just can’t speak from personal experience. If you have any questions about it though I can ask around for you to some of my friends who use it.
